This tour takes you to Speyside, home of over half of Scotland’s malt whiskey distilleries. You get the chance to explore four distilleries, learn how whiskey is intertwined with Scottish culture, and venture through the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. Places you'll explore: Dunkeld - This cathedral’s architecture is a fascinating mix of Gothic and Norman styles. Cairngorms National Park - Gaze in awe at Scotland’s most beautifully rounded peaks. The River Spey - One of Scotland’s most important rivers for salmon farming and whiskey distilling. Speyside Cooperage (Mon and Wed departures only) - Learn about the lifecycle of a whiskey cask. Elgin- Visit this spirited town and explore the best little whisky shop in the world. Four Whisky Distilleries - Compare and contrast the whiskeys of four distinctly delectable distillers. Royal Deeside - Throughout history, the Royal Family have loved exploring this gorgeous region of Scotland. *Speyside Cooperage is visited on Monday and Wednesday departures. * If your tour leaves after 1st April 2025, you will visit Cragganmore Distillery instead. *Please note that Cardhu Distillery will be observing their Silent Season from 23rd September 2024 until 20th October 2024. During this time, guests will be treated to a tasting session but no tour of the facility will be available. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Two days of world wonders, Romans, and royals. This tour whisks you away from the modernity of London to the ancient Stonehenge and through England’s defining eras. You explore Windsor Castle, a thousand-year-old fort that’s seen dramatic sieges and gregarious royal weddings. You venture to Bath, where both the pagans and Romans washed themselves in ‘mythical’ hot springs. And you learn about the English way of life in tiny Cotswolds villages and the grand university colleges of Oxford. Take this two day break and discover Britain’s top destinations. Windsor Castle - Boiling oil was once poured over the walls during a siege of this 1,000-year-old royal residence. Stonehenge - The spiritual center of pagan Britain and one of the most perplexing prehistoric sites in the world. Bath - Luxuriate in the warm tones of the local honey-colored stone used in Georgian architecture. The Cotswolds - Honey-hued stone, local produce, and trickling streams: England's village-life is impossibly idyllic. Oxford - Oxford is an internationally renowned university and a prominent shooting location for the Harry Potter film franchise.

Wales is an intriguing place. Somehow this small country has more castles per square mile than anywhere else in Europe. Amazingly, 20% of the country is protected by national parks. And strangely, their national animal is a mythical dragon! What’s more is it’s packed full of delightful coastal villages, incredible Roman ruins, and stunningly white beaches. But most intriguing is the warm welcome you’ll experience when you travel through this wonderful country on our five day tour.
Spend three days weaving through the landscapes, legends, and landmarks of Skye. On your journey north, you’ll travel past the historic heart of Scotland and learn about the battles between the Scottish and the English. You will venture through breath-taking landscapes, quaint villages and epic castles on this journey to the ‘Misty Isle’. In Skye, you’ll stay in the cute and cultural town of Portree, and explore the scenery that inspired countless myths and legends. And by the time you’re home, you’ll understand why this little island deserves its large reputation. Places you'll explore: Eilean Donan Castle* – An iconic and gorgeous 13th-century castle that once warded off Viking invasions. Glencoe – Be moved by the sheer beauty and tragic tale of one of Scotland’s most famous landscapes. Quiraing Mountain Pass – Skye’s outstanding geological stunner. These strange formations gave Skye its nickname, the ‘Winged Isle’. Neist Point - The location of a dramatic lighthouse and a great place to spot dolphins, whales, porpoises and basking sharks. Five Sisters of Kintail – Legend says a local wizard turned five sisters into these mountains so they could preserve their beauty. Loch Ness – This loch holds more fresh water than all of the lakes in England and Wales combined. But does it also hold the Loch Ness Monster? *Please note that Eilean Donan Castle will be closed on the following dates due to weddings: 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 15th, 16th & 24th November 2024. We will be unable to visit the inside of the castle. Please also note that the castle closes over winter between 22nd December 2024 and 1st February 2025. We apologise for the inconvenience.
