Wales is an intriguing place. Somehow this small country has more castles per square mile than anywhere else in Europe. Amazingly, 20% of the country is protected by national parks. And strangely, their national animal is a mythical dragon! What’s more is it’s packed full of delightful coastal villages, incredible Roman ruins, and stunningly white beaches. But most intriguing is the warm welcome you’ll experience when you travel through this wonderful country on our five day tour.
History can affect you in different ways. It can shock you with savage battles. It can inspire you with ancient beliefs and myths. And it can amaze you with feats of endurance and strength. On this tour you experience all the extreme breadths of Irish history as you sweep down from dramatic sea cliffs to ancient castles. You weave through the modern stories of Belfast, the Celtic beliefs of Giant’s Causeway, and all the tales that made Ireland the place it is today. Take this adventure and experience the enchanting and educational landscapes of Northern Ireland and the Atlantic Coast. *Please note that Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery will be temporarily closed from 31st August 2024 until Spring 2025 due to renovations at the site. During this time, the site will be inaccessible to the public. If you are joining this tour, an alternative stop (or more time at another stop) will be arranged. We apologise for the inconvenience.
