Project Expedition Launches Flight-Friendly Refund Policy for Airport Transfers

New York, New York – Feb. 6th, 2025  – Project Expedition is excited to announce the launch of its Flight-Friendly Refund Policy (FFRP), a new initiative designed to offer better protection for travel advisors and their clients when arrival flights are disrupted.

The FFRP was created in response to one of the most common requests from travel advisors; enhanced flexibility and reliability for airport transfers. With this new policy, travel advisors can now secure refunds for airport transfers when their clients’ flight itinerary experiences a disruption, such as delays or cancellations.

How the Flight-Friendly Refund Policy Works

 

Confirm

Confirm your flight disruption will cause you to miss your scheduled airport pickup. This includes delays and cancellations for the arrival flight or any connection in the arrival flight itinerary.

*Note: flight changes in advance of the cancellation deadline do not qualify as you can cancel for a full refund if you cannot modify your booking

 

Modify

Contact the transfer operator or Project Expedition to modify your booking for the new arrival flight time.

 

Cancel

If the new flight cannot be accommodated or you're rebooked on a different date, cancel your transfer immediately before the original pickup time at https://pe.tours/manage. If you do not cancel prior to your transfer’s pickup time, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

Review

Our specialist team will review your cancelation, verify the flight disruption, and issue a refund if applicable.
